EducatorMy name is Renee Bellefeuille. I am very honoured to have been given the opportunity to work with your little ones here at SpringRoots Early Learning Childcare Centre. I graduated in 2016 from Atlantic Business College with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and Educational Assistant. Prior to attending Atlantic Business College I worked at Tiny Bubbles Childcare Centre where my passion grew to teach young children. I have taken a number of professional development workshops offered through New Brunswick Curriculum Framework to expand my knowledge and further my expertise while working with young children. I have also acquired certificates in both Talk With Me and The National Food Safety Training Program. I believe that every child is unique and develops at different rates. In the early years of a child’s life, development is very important. During these years they need to feel love, compassion and security in order to develop appropriately. I believe in providing a natural environment that provides opportunities that meets each child’s needs and interests where they can learn, explore and thrive both inside and outside the classroom. I feel having good communication between parents and educators is a key part in providing a developmentally appropriate environment where the parents feel valued and included in their child’s development. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. My husband Owen and I have a six-year-old son who keeps both of us on our toes doing lots of extra curricular activities and a two-year-old Boston Terrier named Harley. I enjoy reading, camping and travelling. I look forward to communicating with each and everyone of you!
Jr Preschool-The Three Year Old Child
Learning to build relationships in our world
Exploring through natural play
These children enjoy many new activities. These classes participate in several outings and field trips throughout the year. Children’s interests are followed to allow for discovery in many different areas during the year. Literacy, numeracy, social skills, etc. are tied into classroom activities to make learning fun. Some projects may start to take form and several days may be spent working on certain ideas. Creativity and imagination are a large part of the curriculum.
Your child may become a Picasso!
The Educator/Child ratio will be maintained throughout the day:
